Wellbeing Walk
Yesterday morning, some of our staff and their furry friends got together to have an early Sunday morning meet-up and take part in a wellbeing walk. The idea behind wellbeing walks is to keep our bodies and minds healthy, giving us a breather from the stresses of work life and a space to gather our thoughts. It also provides an opportunity to chat with fellow staff members whom we may not normally get to speak to. As you can see in the photos, Super-Wide Digital is right next door to these stunning views! We’re already thinking about doing more of these walks in the future because they were such a hit. We think other companies should consider doing the same thing—it’s a great way to improve mental health and bring everyone together outside of the office.

Super-Wide Digital is celebrating 25 years in business today! What began as a small banner printing company in Middleton, Manchester, back in 2000 – when the digital print industry was still in its infancy – has grown into a nationwide trade supplier operating from our state-of-the-art facility in Bacup, Lancashire. Over the years, we’ve embraced every technological advancement, continually investing in the latest print and finishing equipment – including our most recent addition, the EFI Vutek X5R, the first of its kind in the UK. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the vision of our founder, Anthony Drogan, whose passion for the industry, eternal optimism, and determination carried us through the toughest of times – from economic crashes to COVID. We’d also like to recognise the dedication of our longest-serving team members: Andy Huskinson and James Moynihan, who have been with us since day one; Vanessa Ryan, who has been part of the journey for over 20 years; and more than 10 more incredible colleagues with over a decade of loyalty, service and dedication to the work we do. Two of our machines have left SWD this week. After years of service, we have decided to invest in new machines.
